It has been a rich and busy week for VCF Cameroon joining partners to commemorate the 13th edition of the International Day of the Girl Child on the theme “Girls’ Vision for the Future”. We participated in radio and TV programs, school outreach, panel discussions, dialogues with community leaders and CSOs, and other recreational activities to celebrate the girl child. We also raised awareness of the inequalities and challenges faced and explored platforms and strategies that will enable her to achieve her vision for the future.
Girls are leaders and change-makers, they are capable of driving development and progress around the world, they are a vital force for transformation and for the achievement of gender equality, and amplifying their voices is crucial to advancing their vision for the future and achieving sustainability.
