Engaging and exciting discussions!
As the 16 days of activism against GBV continue, VCF Cameroon on Saturday engaged Muslim women in exciting discussions about violence against women and girls. During this session, the women cited many cases of violence faced by women and girls in their community, and they made a firm commitment to denounce any case of violence perpetrated against any woman or girl child in the community. Equally, the women called on GBV actors to extend GBV awareness raising in schools because the ill have eaten deep into school children, and real change can only be achieved when girls and children are knowledgeable about GBV, which will enable them to better protect themselves.
