It was a rich and busy week for VCF Cameroon that joined partners to commemorate the 13th edition of the IDG on the theme ” Girls’ Vision for the Future”. We participated in radio and TV programs, schools outreach, panel discussions, dialogues with community leaders and CSOs and other recreational activities to celebrate the girl child. We also raised awareness of the inequalities and challenges the girl child faces, as well as explored platforms and strategies that will enable her better achieve her vision for the future.
Girls are leaders, change makers, they are capable of driving development and progrees around the world, they are a vital force for transformation and for the achievement of gender equality, and amplifying their voices is crucial to advancing their vision for the future and achieving sustainability.
