“When the “Protector” Becomes the Predator”

VCF Cameroon conducted a child-protection session in Bangem, teaching primary school pupils how to identify and respond to sexual abuse. The session revealed that most abusers are trusted adults, not strangers. Children learned warning signs to watch for and were equipped with knowledge on who to report to and how to seek help. VCF remains committed to early prevention, empowering children to protect themselves and ensuring every child is safe, believed, and protected during the 16 Days of Activism and beyond.

“VCF Cameroon Joins Advocacy March to Mark 16 Days of Activism Against GBV”

VCF Cameroon today joined an advocacy march at the University of Buea for the 16 Days of Activism Against GBV. With civil society, students, and leaders, we raised awareness, supported survivor-centered advocacy, and promoted a culture of non-violence. This solidarity reinforces that ending GBV requires collective action. VCF remains committed to prevention, protection, and empowerment for the safety and dignity of all.
