The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence may have come to an end, but at Visionary Care Foundation (VCF) Cameroon, our work to prevent GBV continues every day.
We believe that lasting change begins with early prevention. By introducing young minds to the basics of GBV prevention, we are laying the foundation for safer communities where girls are respected, protected, and empowered. Through creative, child-friendly, and innovative approaches, our team is transforming classrooms into spaces of learning, dialogue, and awareness.
From one school to another, VCF Cameroon continues to engage children on issues of boundaries, dignity, respect, and equality. These conversations are carefully designed to be age-appropriate, engaging, and impactful, ensuring that children not only understand the message but internalize it.
The video shared here captures more than an outreach activity, it reflects our commitment to proactive education, consistency, and courage in addressing GBV at its roots. By reaching children early, we are helping shape attitudes, values, and behaviors that will protect girls and women today and in the future.
At VCF Cameroon, we recognize that GBV prevention is not an event, but a continuous responsibility. And we remain steadfast in using innovative methods to amplify our message, challenge harmful norms, and contribute to a society where everyone can live free from violence.
Protecting girls today is how we protect communities tomorrow.
