Visionary Care Foundation (VCF) Cameroon recently joined other partners in facilitating an innovative campfire dialogue with community women, using storytelling and open discussion as powerful tools for change.

Gathered around the warmth of the fire, participants reflected on the risk factors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) within households and communities. Together, they brainstormed practical strategies to prevent and mitigate these risks.

Rooted in tradition yet reimagined for advocacy, this approach demonstrates how grassroots engagement can spark meaningful conversations and shift harmful norms.

At VCF Cameroon, we believe that solutions to VAWG must start within the community, in safe spaces where people feel empowered to speak, listen, and act together.

We extend our gratitude to all stakeholders for supporting this journey of prevention, empowerment, and change.
